Dr. Kieran O’Brien

Chief Epidemiologist

Dr. O'Brien is an epidemiologist and Assistant Professor with the Department of Ophthalmology, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, San Francisco. She has extensive experience in the design, implementation, and analysis of randomized controlled trials and observational studies to evaluate health interventions in clinical and community settings globally. She has published peer-reviewed articles in ophthalmology, epidemiology, and clinical trials including the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet Global Health and JAMA.
